Reichenberger Extends Leads
With his win, Brandon Reichenberger extended his point lead to 27 points over Eugene Gregorich III. The points will be tight leading toward the final three races of the 2024 Season.
Reichenber Win %
Brandon picked up his 3rd win of the season and his 5th career Midwest Truck Series victory. After winning two in his inaugural season with the series in 2022, he went winless a year ago. He is now tied with John Wood with a Win % of 16.67 which is second best Win % with driver that have at least 20 starts. James Swan has a winning % of 20.39% (21/103)
Reffner Strong in Debut
Colin Reffner jumped into the 31 owned by ThirtyOne Motorsports and showed what he can do in a Midwest Truck. Reffner had not raced Madison in 9 years and finished the 30 lap feature event in second.
Scott Ciesielski and Colton Morgan Make Truck Series Debuts
Two others drivers made their Midwest Truck Series debut with Ciesieslki picking up the JK Tools Rookie of the Race in 15th and Colton Morgan finished 20th after being involved in an incident midway through the 30 lap feature.
Jesse Green has Career Best Qualifying Effort
Jesse Green has 19 starts with the Midwest Truck Series and found speed going into Madison International Speedway. He backed up his practice speed and recorded the 12th fastest lap in Six08 Pole Qualifying.
Another Strong Field of Trucks
Returning home is always fun, and it’s the same for the truckers of the Midwest Truck Series. A strong field of 27 trucks rolled through the gates making it the 6th race of the last 10 with at least 27 trucks at Madison. The series has averaged 25.4 trucks per race with a high of 29 at Slinger and a low of 22 at State Park Speedway back in May.
JK Tools Rookie Issues
Leading JK Tool Rookie of the Year contender Parker Cain was involved in an incident on lap 15 forcing him to retire from the race. Tucker Bodendorfer was able to cut the Rookie Point Battle down to 29 points going into the final 3 races.
Swan Fastest in Six08 Pole Qualifying
This was Swan’s first fast time since Madison back in May of 2023. Can he keep the momentum going when the series rolls into Dells Raceway Park, a track where Swan is the winningest driver in series history.
Winless Streak Continues
Speaking of wins, James Swan is looking to find victory lane once again. It has almost been a calendar year since Swan parked it in victory lane. The good news is, it was the 2023 Sauter Classic 50 at Dells Raceway Park when Swan last won.
Holtz Starts 50
A veteran in almost every form of racing, Jeff Holtz started his 50th career Midwest Truck Series race. In his 50 starts Holtz has 4 wins with two coming this season.
Knuese Back on the Podium
Kevin Knuese had his best finish in over 2 years when he found himself back on the podium at Madison International Speedway. That was his first podium since he picked up the win in the Joe Shear Classic back in May of 2022.
