The Woods are in charge of this series? Well if you do any work for them, get the payment IN WRITING and then request at least some of it in advance. Otherwise, you'll get excuses and no money. One of them can't pay for a Pepsi if his wife is around and trust me, she'll be around EVERY TIME you see him if he owes you money.
